Newbie Baker

If there is a skill I never thought my hands were made for, it’s baking.

This brand-new hobby is seriously life-changing. I bake anything from cookies to ¬†pizzas to pies. I’ll even bake my breakfast omelette if need be #kidding.

I take pleasure in the idea of baking like a total doozie, for the sake of giving mouthwatering treats to the mass (aka my quad-mates, family and friends alike).

Due to the holiday season approaching, you can find me running around the kitchen like a mad chicken, mixing batter and shoving cupcakes down the oven. Totally NOT joking. My baking game is strrrrrrong.

Side note: I love dancing to Ben Rector while baking. #noshame

There’s something about getting my hands dirty and making something sweet from scratch. As my work-of-art comes to fruition, I can’t help but get all mushy inside. “Oh look! The croissants are puffing up!” A pretty rewarding feeling may I add!

Baking is my stress reliever. The intricacies of baking, from measuring cups to precise cutting and peeling just the right amount of fruits, it allllllways keeps me busy. It steers me away from the current stress i’m dealing with.

Personally, more men should bake. It’s a nice, out-of-the-ordinary hobby we can all acquire as gentleman. Bonus points since a lot of chicks like men who cook.

Therefore, you’re a catch!

If you have any baking tips to share, by all means email me or comment down below. I need more skills to garner:)

all the brotherly love,
