Challenges change. Changes challenge. Either way, both lanes churn the safety nets of our life.

Hey gents!

It’s funny how the season’s change parallel the highs and lows of living. Some experience supremacy, some face severe suffering.

Personally, there’s been a ton of change happening across the board. I…

  • found a new marketing job in Charlotte, NC
  • re-evaluated the friendship department
  • delved into the dating scene, among other things

Generally, many hate the thought of “change” since it breeds a somber school of thought, believing we must sacrifice a slice of our stable life (i.e. time, energy, possessions, relationships, etc.)

While the thought rings true, we forget the benefits that blossom out of the toughest transitions.

Why do people stay stagnant in a sea of growth? because the negative always outweigh the positive. The idea of losing something familiar means more than gaining something fruitful.

Newsflash: life is meant to be challenging and cheerful -at the same time! A comfortable life is a lonely life. Where’s the fun in that? Balance is key, folks!

This season, i’m placing the weight towards possibility rather than loss. Switching one’s perspective of change can make a heck-load of difference. For one, we grow a thicker set of skin.

Once we accept the potential drawbacks, experience discomfort, keep the faith, and embrace the uncertainties…
…new relationships, unforeseen talents, bountiful life skills, and a greater sense of self will surely prosper. All in God’s perfect timing.

Cheers to change!
