Je Ne Sais Quoi

A simple, superior look, worn with a whimsy and wondering attitude. Made for the quaintest of hearts.
Bonjour, gents!
Pardon my French. Fun fact: I studied Spanish back in middle and high school, simply because the pronunciation was seemingly feasible. But don’t get me wrong, French is a beautiful language!
So much so that I recently bought a quaint, little notebook to jot some cute French words. In hopes that I can playfully fuse the words with my everyday lingo.
Today’s look epitomizes my fashion DNA: quaint, romantic, dapper, and unmistakably Parisian. It has that certaim “je ne sais quoi.”
Despite what maximalists say, there’s something beautiful about a simple outfit, bearing a sense of uniqueness to the crowd. A tortoise in a sea of hares, if you will.
Moreover, a romantic stance makes a person more attractive. Parisians exhibit both ingredients effortlessly. Generally speaking, one of the reasons why I love Paris and the overall French culture is due to the “charming effect” they acquire.
Two great example are natural beauty and the normalcy of the farmer’s market. French people do skincare right. Natural ingredients, and usually the lesser the better. No wonder they always glow like youthful beings!
Food-wise, they know quality when they see one. Trips down the local market, on a mission for fresh foods -is their motto. That probably contributes to the glow-ful skin as well. Two in one.
But among other things, style is the primary source of lust. How is it possible that simplicity can trump complexity?
It starts with the wearer. They take the “less is more” approach on a whole new level. They gravitate towards the classics, and we all know nothing beats a classic. Frenchies embrace style before fashion, not the other way around. They also let personality do more of the talking.
In essence, don’t let the clothes wear you.
I just love twirling in my clothes, cultivating a jovial vibe, being mindfully present, appreciating true beauty, exuding effortless looks that echoes my character, and living in practical luxury. All the things that personify my definition of Je Ne Sais Quoi.
all the brotherly love,
