A Southern Staple

Howdy friends!
Hope you guys had a lovely weekend. Mine was somewhat relaxing, seasoned with a dash of productivity. I’m finally getting back to the swing of things.
For one, I bought a handful amount of hydrangeas. Oh how I missed the sweet smell of floral! (corny, but true) It was fun spending time with my trusty market tote at the farmer’s market while hauling these beauties around town.
I also assembled a pretty, white bench for my parents, followed by a trip to Target in pursuit of outdoor pillows. Luckily, the clearance section was serving some seeeeerious deals.
Today’s look contains some of my favorite go-to’s, especially when the summer sun strikes like a savage. There’s nothing better than a well-worn graphic tee and lived-in khakis. I’m enamored by this TEXAS print thanks to its simple southern charm.
On the weekends, I scramble the fashion field into a state of rusticity (with a modern twist). Comfy, cotton, and country, like it was made for the weekend. As we say in the South, “happy as a pig in mud.”
all the brotherly love,
