My Current Uniform

My go-to look for the change of seasons. Great for chilly mornings, even better when the hot sun strikes.

Hey Dappers!
One of the great things about spring comes from the lack of heavy jackets. Either i’m wearing a light, fashionable coat, or not. Perhaps a thin parka when rainy weather strikes…
Point is: we can finally show off our outfits without worrying about coats interfering (because let’s face it, a coat/jacket can only go so far). Too predictable and bulky. Not hating, just ready for a break.
Here’s a look I typically flaunt when the weather can’t make up its mind. These desert boots from Clarks Originals have a(n) suede upper, ankle length design, and lightweight construction. Perfect for chilly mornings to keep the toes toasty, but won’t be a deal breaker once the sun breaks out in the afternoon.
You might be wondering why on earth i’m still wearing cords…well…
As a college student-slash-part-time-blogger, you can typically spot me at a local coffee shop sipping an iced coffee, typing away on my macbook. With that said, coffee shops tend to pump cold air when the weather starts to warm up (as they should). I usually stick around for endless hours. Days like this require some coverage without over-layering. Hence, the corduroy pants.
I personally find corduroys way, way more comfortable than jeans while working at the coffeeshop. Probably since most of my jeans have little to no stretch (hate stretchy jeans!).
I’m very particular when it comes to plaid. This shirt from the SONOMA line at Kohl’s has been on repeat for weeks now. Completely obsessed with the dark olive shade and plaid pattern. Not super busy and just the right amount of pop. Did I mention its double weaved? Similar to the desert boots, its great for transitional weather. Cold-weather appropriate, yet breathable for warm afternoons.
Have a great week, friends!
