Quick Pasta Dinner

For the busiest of days, here’s an easy pasta recipe that will surely impress your #adulting skills!

Hey gents!
I’ll go ahead and say it. I, Ian Laya, am a terrible cook.
When it comes to cooking, my inner one-trick-pony comes out. Scrambled eggs and nothing else. That’s about the only thing under my belt at the moment…but the great thing about life is that it’s a learning process. Never too late to learn!
On a serious note, graduation is coming and my #adulting skills still need a bit of tending (cooking among other things). Moreover, your boy never stops hustling. Always on the go as my friends say. It’s a blessing and a curse, believe me.
Cooking gives me the jitters, always afraid of recipes going off course. I’m a klutz 9 times out of ten. But don’t worry, practice makes perfect.
In the meantime, here’s a recipe to calm the nerves.
Most days consist of never-ending errands, doing homework, and writing blogposts at the coffee shop. Between the time I get home and the sleep schedule, there’s barely any time to prep a decent meal.
While sandwiches and salads make great everyday options, there are days when craving something chef-y transpires.
This quick pasta meal makes for a stellar solo dinner. No prepping required since the ingredients are pre-packed and ready to go!
Before shopping, I always reach for the phone and do some brand/product research. Packaging and cute wordings should never have the final say, let alone basing a product’s health-o-meter. The products shown here are fairly healthy picks.
Some benefits from this meal are:
Time Saver || It literally takes 20 minutes, you guys!
Restaurant Quality || Looks and tastes legit. Now all you need is a nice, white tablecloth!
Super Quick Process || Boil pasta, drain water, add sauce and grilled chicken. Presto!
