Wayfarer Style

What I wear while traveling. Simple, snuggly, with a side of structure. Let the adventures begin!

Hey Dappers!
As you’re reading this, I’m probably hitting the bustling streets of New York once again. Eeep!
Ah, whatta nice feeling to be back. Can’t get enough of New York’s dream-driven spirit. So many hopeful individuals walking the streets, optimistic and somewhat grounded. Makes me wanna work harder than ever. #motivationatmosphere

In case you missed it, i’m in the city for Men’s fashion week. So stoked to be attending a few events and shows. So humbled to be a part of this! I’ll keep you guys up to date via. instagram!
Now to the outfit…
*The outfit was shot before the excursion, so I hope that clears any confusion given by the background.*

Whenever I travel, I like to keep it low-key and comfy. No frills, just a few snuggly staple pieces to get me through. I do, however, add a bit of sleek appeal to my jet set getups.
Truth be told, I put effort into every outfit I wear. Heck, even the sleepwear side of the fashion spectrum! What can I say? It comes naturally.
When the airport (or train station, bus stop, whatever) strikes, I typically sport an updated version of my daily outfits, rather than a black head-to-toe ensemble -or a hoodie/jogger combo. I guess what i’m trying to say is: wear what you want, not what the mainstream notion says is appropriate or “cool.”

…minus the jewelry. If you’re flying, that is.

This mock-neck sweater is one of the coziest sweaters I own (it’s basically a blanket). You can’t see it here, but it has an extremely roomy armpit area. It’s fairly cropped which I also love, lending me some space to move around. Never fun when the body is cramped for hours, oy.

The vintage corduroy jacket adds a nice touch to the outfit. Can’t go wrong with a pair of straight-fit Levi’s (mine has stretch!) and chelsea boots (with a ton of padding), too.

The bag on the other hand? Simple does it. I like to stick with neutral colored duffles because it matches any outfit I put together. Also, I try to stay away from gaudy patterns/logos/silhouettes squarely to avoid attention. Ya feel me?
