Denim Greenery

Green denim is the new blue. Can this be true?
Hey Dappers!
I’m currently sick with a scratchy throat and terribly flooded nose (don’t worry, a box of Kleenex is in order.) Also, please pardon my “lethargically zoned-out” appearance. Clearly my eyes wanted to ditch the photoshoot. #honestly

Ew. Gross. I know.
Mother nature plays the merciless game, like a champ, this time of year. With flu scattering, the frequent fog, and nonstop rain Virginia’s been getting for days now…all I can say is oy.
(melodramatic, for sure.)
However in my defense, the fall foliage makes the rainy season worth while.
Weeks like this remind me that health and fitness should be taken seriously. BRB, eating kale and peas for the time being. With a bit of prayer, veggies, vitamin C and multiple cups of hot tea, I should recover before the #weekend strikes.
Speaking of greens, this jacket must’ve been heaven-sent. A perfect mid-weight jacket for the foul weather. Believe it or not, this is my first ever denim jacket!
I went overly rebellious with the look by wearing shades of white and cream on a dreary day. Topped with a fall-right denim jacket, the outfit suddenly went from Hamptonite Social to Nashville Charm.

Denim Jackets are THE BEST transition piece. They are thick enough to warm, and thin enough to layer. It’s the best of both worlds! Better yet, green is a great pop of color for the monochrome dresser.
Now the real question is:  Should I get a blue one? we’ll have to see.
